Comfortable rooms and a separate cottage

All our rooms, our suite and our cottage have a separate entrance to guarantee your peace and quiet.

For your comfort, each accommodation is equipped with:

• comfortable and high-quality bedding

• a mini-fridge

• a kettle

• a courtesy tray

• a private space conducive to rest

After a day of exploring Strasbourg or the Alsace wine route, you will appreciate the calm of the place and, perhaps, the song of the blackbird that inspired the name of our house.

Homemade Alsatian breakfast

Our guest rooms are offered with breakfast included.

Every morning, we invite you to discover a generous breakfast featuring Alsatian flavors. Depending on the season and our current offerings, you can enjoy:

• kougelhopf

• Streusel

• stollen

• various breads

• homemade jams

• homemade yogurts

• local fruits and produce

Breakfast is served in our authentic Alsatian Stub , the historic heart of the house, or on the garden terrace when the weather permits.

If you suffer from food allergies or intolerances, we can adapt breakfast upon request when you make your reservation.

Hansi Suite and Merle cottage: freedom and autonomy

The Hansi Suite and the Gîte du Merle are offered without breakfast in order to offer you more freedom and a more economical option.

For those with a bigger appetite, a breakfast basket can be ordered as an extra when booking (price shown is per person per day) and delivered directly to your accommodation, or directly to our stub, subject to availability. This ultra-flexible option can be chosen the day before your arrival and on a daily basis!
